Megan – Director
Hi, my name is Megan,
I have worked in the salon since 2008, starting as an apprentice and working my way up the salon to becoming Assistant Manager in 2016. In July 2022 myself and Tayla took over the salon completely as part owners!
I have completed my NVQ level 2 & 3 in Hairdressing as well as many other courses including JOICO Colour Unlimited. I love anything to do with colouring hair, especially highlights!
Tayla – Director
Hi, I’m Tayla,
I’m a director and part owner of 1441 Hair and have been working in the salon since 2011. In 2022 I took over the salon with Megan!
I’ve completed my NVQ level 2 & 3 qualifications while working at 1441 Hair. I work within the salon full time and work my hours around looking after my two little children.
I love learning about new trends and my favourite thing to do is hair ups and wedding hair!
Abbie – Senior Stylist
Hi, my name is Abbie.
I qualified my NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing in March 2022 after spending 2 years at college before starting at 1441 Hair in May 2022. I’m passionate about my job as a hairdresser & learning new techniques – I’m forever wanting to expand my knowledge and learning the newest trends within Hairdressing.
I love speaking to new people and love making my clients feel great! I am excited to further my career in hairdressing!
Lia – Senior Stylist
Hello I’m Lia!
I started my hairdressing training at 1441 Hair in May 2015 for a few years, taking a break to have my little girl and returned to the salon in 2024!
I am a bubbly character and love to communicate on all levels with my clients. I love all aspects of hairdressing but mostly providing care and giving the upmost attention to all my clients.
In my personal life I have a love for music, spending time with my young daughter and being sociable with friends and family.
I look forward to meeting both new and regular clients from the salon.
Kirstie – Graduate Stylist
Hi, I’m Kirstie!
I Started with 1441 Hair in July 2023 doing my apprenticeship learning everything about hairdressing and I completed my Level 2 NVQ Qualification in 2025.
I enjoy all aspects of the industry, especially any sort of unique or creative colouring!
I am looking forward to building up my clientele and meeting many more of you, as well as expanding my knowledge for the future in Hairdressing!
Alyssa – Junior
Hi, I’m Alyssa!
I am working full time at 1441 Hair whilst doing my apprenticeship at college one day a week.
I previously spent a year at college doing Level 2 Media Course, in which I covered hair, make up and nails which made me want to take a career on in Hairdressing and found my love for it!
I am looking forward to learning new techniques and progressing my skills in the salon. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and can’t wait to work with you on your hair.
